1. Reflect on your own times of doubt. What similarities do you see with David’s experience in this passage? Why is the experience of doubt not just a matter of reason or evidence?
2. Reflect again on your own times of doubt. In what ways were the same vulnerabilities that we see demonstrated in David at play in your experience? How restrained were you in prayer? How can you learn to “propagandize” your soul during such seasons?
3. What does it look like to fight your doubt? How quick are you to push back against it? Do you despise your doubt, or coddle it?
